GAS Textiles began in-house as part of the photography rental business GAS Kit after becoming increasingly frustrated with the waste generated by damaged bags and equipment and the amount of gear that came insufficiently protected. Having made a commitment to reduce waste, they chose repair over replace and we began maintaining the textile components of their stock and crafting hardwearing, protective solutions to prolong the life of the equipment they hired. 

As word spread, it became clear there was a demand for our services beyond GAS Kit. Outgrowing the warehouse, we established ourselves independently and now work with rental houses, companies and individuals across the UK on an ever expanding range of projects from from sun-hoods for iPad minis, to large scale immersive projection spaces.

We remain committed to our core ethos of - repair over replace and put a focus on careful design, high-grade materials and durable construction, ensuring the longevity of our repairs and products.

Our small, diversely skilled team specialises in working closely with clients to realise their ideas, whether it's a branded sand bag, mended scrim, or a completely custom piece.
